Olive tree and Doves

The Dove is a universal symbol of peace. A gentle, white bird that flies freely through the skies, the dove has become the symbol of hope and freedom that the Palestinian people hold onto.
In the background everything (post cards, letters, cuttings of magazines, story pages) is related to childhood and . I used original Palestinian coin from 1927 and a post card of Jaffa view from early 19th centuray.
Houses along with the Olive tree symbolize their return to the land and Unity as the olive tree is not simply agriculture - it is directly related to their dignity and nationality.
The sun gives the message that Palestine will rise again and they will return to their homes and their children will sing peace songs along with the birds.
