The theme touches on trusting the process of life and letting go of control. Finding peace by enjoying the journey more than the destination. My whole life was about control: either being controlled or trying to control others. Once I realised the freedom of going with the flow in any situation, I found  the peace I was looking for.
The colour gradient circle in this painting depicts the circle of life and the rectangle framing it is the restrictions and limitations we find ourselves in sometimes. The fluid flow of colours crossing over is the ups and downs in life. The flow is synonymous with letting go in order to see the beauty and surprises that life has in store for us. It also signifies the unpredictability of the outcome of our lives when we do let go of things that we can’t control, subsequently finding beauty and peace within and everywhere.
