“Muscat welcomed me with lemon-gold glare of the sunset as if bathed in warm milk with saffron and the out of the ordinary rhythm of waves.
I have been watching it every evening, picking the colors and patterns of surfaces mixed with the smell of spices and the sounds of waves...
Later, when we have been travelling around Oman, alternating mountain landscapes and heritage sites, I noticed more and more clearly and more and more fell in love with how brightly but ethically lemon, lime and mustard color accents mix in herbs and light on the background of stone surfaces, clays and sands.
All those colors are mixing up with smells of spices and incense, which are so saturated as if they reveal themselves in the air with the colorful sweet dust.
And it's such a mixture textures; colors and scents became my Oman and forever took a place in my heart.”
