Gunes Caglarcan is a multidisciplinary painter and pianist based in Istanbul, Turkey, who explores perception and human relations through his art. His primary focus lies in the human mind, human relations, and inner reflection. By incorporating psycho-visuals, he manipulates perception to examine connections between objects and past experiences, using perception as a key compositional element. As both a painter and pianist, Caglarcan finds parallels between music and visuals, often collaborating with composers and performers in his exhibitions and installations. He studied piano at Istanbul University Conservatory and the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music and holds an MBA. Recognized as a rising artist with his Shadows Collection, he has participated in multiple exhibitions and held solo shows. Caglarcan continues to work between Istanbul and Los Angeles on the Shadows Experience, an audio-visual installation by his brother that further explores the Shadows Collection.
