Sunsets give us patience to watch the sun diminish away into oblivion & embrace the emergence of dusk. While sunsets symbolise new journeys, lily pads symbolise persistence & eternal cycle of life.

Amidst the dusking colours, the sun blissfully fades away from the viewer's eye.
The middle of the painting is the water reflection of the sky & sun. The sun reflects glowingly against the mystical crimson of lull, evening waters.
The artist adds lily pads floating lazily in the evening water, at the foreground. Lily pads not only add spirituality to the nightfall but also suggest health & growth of life to the surroundings.
