Is mental suffering solely human? Or can the weight of abandonment and loneliness extend to an animal—one that, without choice or understanding, offers its life and unwavering loyalty to the one who feeds it, becoming part of their “pack”?  

Can a human’s longing reach this defenseless creature, who, in a barren land, waits—yearning for reunion, sensing the sorrow of its owner even in absence? This work unveils the memories of a life marked by suffering, where desolation is felt long before departure. That sorrow fractures the deepest part of their being, unknowingly offering me an image of pain that feels eternal.
