I created this painting to celebrate that feeling - to show how books can unlock doors to infinite possibilities. On the canvas, you’ll see a young girl lost in a story, while the world around her transforms. The natural elements engulf her with color, bringing to life images dancing through her mind. I used a palette knife technique to add rich texture and energy to this dreamlike scene as I hoped to capture that sense of wonder that comes alive when we read.
