Artist Title:Master of Arts and Crafts in Shaanxi Province,Representative Inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project - Yaozhou Kiln Ceramic Firing Technique
Introduction:Inspired by the Chu culture in the pre Qin period of China, this work combines the form of Paper Cuttings in northern Shaanxi, a world intangible cultural heritage, to present three-dimensional tiger patterns, implying the prosperity of the country.
Twelve diagonally protruding "mountains" characters are carved inside the plate, symbolizing the twelve hours or months and symbolizing the cycle of time. The ripples between words are like both the sound waves of a tiger's roar and the flowing clouds and water.
The combination of body and circle reflects the Eastern wisdom of 'round sky and square earth'.
The base color of the blue glaze, combined with the golden tiger pattern and the ink color of the book "Tiger and Dragon Plate" of China's founding leaders, complement each other.
