The Ordeal Dreams

Spectro Lucid Art | Stand : CA02, CA03, CA05

Filipino Dreams - A lone figure stands on the edge of a boundless sea, where the waters are neither calm nor raging but shift between the two, mirroring the trials of the soul. The sky above is split-half drenched in the golden warmth of a setting sun, the other swallowed by the deep indigo of an approaching storm. Somewhere between these two realms, the dreamer walks, carrying the weight of unseen burdens. Floating within are figures from Filipino folklore-the trickster Juan Tamad lounging on a drifting coconut, the white lady of Balete Drive whispering forgotten fears, the aswang flickering in the shadows of doubt. And yet, despite the weight of the ordeal, the dreamer does not falter. The Filipino soul is one of resilience, forged in struggle, tempered by laughter, and carried forward by an undying hope. The dreamer takes another step, knowing that beyond the trial lies transformation.
