This painting was inspired by my unforgettable experience at an exhibition dedicated to Falcon hunting . The moment I held a falcon in my hands and saw its fierce beauty up close, I felt an overwhelming admiration for its power and grace.
I used oil paint and gold leaf on canvas to reflect the fusion of tradition and modernity. The gold leaf represents status and heritage, while the soft brushstrokes bring out the bird’s natural elegance and vitality.
I want the audience to feel the majesty, freedom, and strength embodied in the falcon. It sits still, yet you can sense the immense power within, ready to take flight at any moment. Capturing this quiet intensity was my goal.
Falconry is an essential part of Middle Eastern culture, symbolizing the deep connection between humans and nature, a respect for tradition, and mastery over the wild. For me, this painting is a tribute to that harmony.
