In Cuba, more than 500 years ago, the Taino Indians were already rolling and burning leaves of black tobacco, the plant native to the area, which they called Cohiba. Following the arrival of Europeans in America in 1492, tobacco was traded and planted all over the planet. This sculpture reflects a part of Cuba and an ancient tradition.
