I create artwork featuring animals and a character I developed named "Meten", whose name comes from its dot-like eyes (目が点 me-ga-ten, meaning "dot eyes" in Japanese).
I also incorporate elements of Japanese culture in my work, as I hope to share the beauty and charm of Japan with many people.
My pieces are crafted using oil pastels and finger techniques in the style of permanent chalk art, originally from Australia, which brings a sense of warmth and comfort. It brings me great joy to share both the appeal of Japanese culture and the unique charm of chalk art with a wider audience.
