Calligraphy is both an art of sumi ink and an interplay between black and white spaces that complete each other. In this series of three works, I approached the blank white paper as if slicing it with black ink, crafting a spatial beauty born from the balance between ink shades and blank spaces.
To highlight this spatial beauty, I avoided framing the works and instead mounted them directly onto canvases. The piece "Phoenix" embodies dignity and vibrant energy, "Love" conveys intensity and tenderness, and "Flow" reflects freedom with a refined elegance.
