This work employs rice paper as its medium and uses Arabic calligraphy to express the meaning of “peace.” Rendered in a horizontal orientation, it sharply contrasts with the traditional vertical layout of rice paper, breaking conventional compositional rules to create a unique visual tension and an aesthetic of cultural fusion. The interplay between the flowing ink and the texture of the rice paper conveys both a classical charm and a modern, reflective artistic atmosphere, symbolizing the inevitable collisions and integrations among different civilizations in their pursuit of peaceful coexistence.
