This work reconstructs the two characters for “peace” using a variety of calligraphic styles, ingeniously blending the brushstrokes and rhythms of traditional Chinese calligraphy with those of Arabic script. Vibrant, colorful crayon strokes inject a unique vitality into the composition. The interweaving and collision of multicultural symbols create a dialogue that transcends language and era, reflecting the hope that nations of diverse civilizations can learn from and integrate with one another on the path to peace. The piece conveys a universal ideal of peace and celebrates the harmonious beauty inherent in cultural diversity.
