In Palestinian culture, the gazelle's symbolism of freedom is deeply rooted in the people's struggle for self-determination and independence. The gazelle represents the longing for freedom, the aspiration to roam freely in their own land, and the determination to overcome obstacles and constraints.

Prickly pear cactus and poppies have become powerful symbols of Palestinian identity, resilience and resistance.
Pomegrantes on drapery depict abundance, rebirth and prosperity.
