The company's aim is to bioengineer lifespan and health-span extension through targeting mitochondria. Founder is a triple doctor with Phd in Neuroscience and another PhD in Biomedical Engineering. Her multidisciplinary expertise and research discovered mitochondria to be the master switch to life and death. She started researching mitochondria’s decoupling agents (chemical molecules) to mimic the biological blueprint of some of the longest living species (Greenland shark can live between 250 to 500 years; a mammal, bowhead whale, 200 years).
