The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority is a financially and administratively independent entity, reporting directly to the Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is the supreme authority for financial oversight and accountability, promoting integrity and establishing the principles of accountability and transparency in all government agencies and local and international institutions in which Abu Dhabi owns a stake exceeding 25%.
