Toyol Gallery was founded in Hong Kong in 2019 with the mission to champion artists from the New Contemporary Art Movement—an electrifying development that centres the social and embraces wide-ranging disciplines such as Contemporary Pop, Post-Graffiti, and varying Futurisms. Cementing its reputation as a proponent for young and upcoming talent in the movement, Toyol recently entered into an exclusive agreement with the burgeoning Yogyakarta-based artist Adin Wiedyardini. Continually seeking to establish and expand its vision and scope, Toyol annually participates in a diverse range of local and international events, including Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong, Art Taipei, and Art Jakarta. Showcased artists include Lingmuki, kiminoe, Inoue, Nico da Rocha, and Hong Kong street legend Plumber King. Having relocated to a larger gallery space in May 2024, Toyol Gallery is preparing for an exciting move to PMQ, a renowned creative space in Hong Kong that fosters innovation and design.
