Alessandra Zaffino

I am an Italian artist who creates paintings using mixed materials and textures with modern subjects from abstracts to figurative. I am interested in using art to communicate the challenges of nature depicting our world in many aspects. The world series depicts the challenges of climate change and the strength of nature. I am also interested in representing women to celebrate the power of simplicity for every woman, regardless of colour or religion, as a new strong way to relates in society, connect, inspire to be a model for other women. In most of my paintings women’s face and hair are painted in a pure white colour to represent this concept. My creative streak comes from mixing and blending on the canvas heterogeneous materials like sand, acrylic, fabric, plaster, nails, paper with vinyl glue. I was selected as emerging artist in Dubai and exhibited my works in at Total Arts Gallery, Al Quoz. I studied art and displayed my paintings in many exhibitions in Italy.
