Ramadan moons and every belief has a magic within it

I'm fascinated by Arabic calligraphy, but I lack the soul in the lines, the connection to culture, and the talent to implement Arabic script into my paintings. That's how I discovered the artist Mattar Bin Lahej. His art is a gift from God. I'm fascinated by his ability to grasp things, his way of thinking, and his ability to transform reality into magical works of art. An Emirati artist similar to the French artist René Lalique. Perfection, connection, and versatility in creativity.

I painted this painting during Ramadan. The moon, with its magical power, and bees appear repeatedly in my paintings. They are the protectors of my presence, of what one forgets to preserve. The painting is a binding painting, and only when one removes the tape do you see the work of art underneath.
