KATHAs Cutting Art

The Artist KATHA is not exclusively a pure Pop Art artist in the classical sense (such as Lichtenstein with his comic motifs or Warhol with series production). Her work also moves towards abstract painting and lifestyle art, which sets her apart from traditional Pop Art exponents. She´s born in an Artist family and started to paint two years old. Studied Art at the Art Academy and have been surrounded by the Dresden art scene with personalities such as Otto Dix, Max Uhlig or A.R. Penck. As a 16 years old she suffered from borderline personality disorder due to her aversion to art. In a 8-years creative break she set up her own family. After the death of her parents she started a reunion with painting and came back with her own and unique art technique, called “KATHAs CUTTING ART”.
