Ann Grebel A. Villanueva, known artistically as Anninag, is a Filipina autodidact multidisciplinary artist and educator whose work explores archetypal realism, photorealism, and surrealist narrative through traditional media, primarily oil, watercolor, acrylic, and organic materials. Raised Ilongga–Masbateña, her practice draws from Philippine heritage, mythology, and lived memory, often portraying women as archetypal figures that embody resilience, identity, and cultural continuity.

Working from self-developed training, her paintings bridge realism and symbolic storytelling, transforming personal and cultural narratives into reflective visual experiences. Committed to sustainability, she incorporates natural and recycled materials into her practice. Beyond the studio, Villanueva mentors artists of all ages while embracing Anninag as her evolving artistic identity.
